These are the steps I used to attach a Gadget to my blog:
Sign into Gmail account > View blog > Design > Widget Edit (under Header) > Add a Gadget
The purpose of a widget is to enhance my blog.
The gadget I choose is the Total Pageviews. It adds value to my blog by displaying the popularity and traffic through statistics.
